Four Months.

Today our sweet Rosie Layne is 4 months old.
She fills every room with her big, beautiful smile and has this way of making even the hardest days feel a little lighter. We're starting to hear the soft beginnings of little giggles, and they might just be our family's favorite thing right now.
There have been a few sleepless nights lately, but they've been completely overshadowed by all the smiles, cuddles, and watching her discover the world around her.
With 13 years between Rosie and Mason & Ellaina, I forgot so much - all of those little moments that seem so ordinary until they're gone. Watching Rosie grow has brought so many of those memories flooding back, and it's been such a gift to relive this stage all over again.

Darnell and the kids headed out to our yard today and picked the first round of Saskatoon berries. So while Rosie was napping, I turned our fresh-picked berries into oatmeal muffins!..And by "baked," I mean I dumped a package of oatmeal muffin mix into a bowl, added the eggs, oil, and an unreasonable amount of Saskatoons. The real accomplishment? I didn't burn them. I'd call that a successful afternoon. 😂

A few weeks ago, our family visited Minnedosa for baseball provincials that Mason played in. This was his first year playing baseball. We had the best time watching him play this season and travelling for his provincial tournament!

We absolutely fell in love with Minnedosa - what a beautiful community!

Huge thank you to all of the coaches, manager and local association for providing baseball to the kids this year - Mason really LOVED playing and can't wait for next season! It takes a lot of volunteer work, and you're all so appreciated!

I, of course, brought my camera along to take photos of Mason, but ended up taking some photos of the team playing! Here are a few of my favorite shots from the weekend! Feel free to tag and share!

(I have a link for the photos - I think there's about a dozen more- if anyone wants them - but unfortunately, between baby Rosie "cheering" while the kids were batting and watching the games, not all shots worked out and not all of the kids have photos.)
