Dear Manitobans,
Our company, Highway 6 Express, is a freight company that travels on the largest Highway in Manitoba, Highway 6. Our goal with this page (idea) is to clean up Northern Manitoba, Highway 6, and beyond.
Like many people in Manitoba, (depending on where you live) I am desperately sadden, disgusted, and ashamed at the amount of littering that is taking place in our province. It's an absolute eye sore, but more importantly, it's about the animals that we don't see, that are suffering and being torchered, due to our carelessness when it comes to controlling our litter and pollution.
I hope this page brings awareness and we can expose the problem areas in our province. Let's all work together, and show everyone what we can do when people work, together.
There is also a major problem with our government here in Manitoba when it comes to delegating, where is all the money going? We need to do what we can as citizens of Manitoba to help clean up. The city workers cannot keep up and the funding is not there or not being properly managed.
Our waste and recycling management is absolutely embarrassing, we need to stop burying our garbage and recycle every bit of it like other countries are doing, which some have been doing for over 50 years. This is Canada for goodness shakes, we are suppose to be one of the top countries on the planet. We are one of the worst when it comes to waste control. Also, shipping our garbage overseas, shameful.
Let's all work together, let's start here, with our waste and garbage control. If we can do this, we can do anything.
If you are serious about change and you want to see it happen, "YOU" need to help out, as well. We need to stop relying on government to get everything done and start relying on ourselves, and our communities, as a whole.
