Got a vehicle that’s reached the end of the road? 🚗
If you’re in Thunder Bay and have an old, damaged, or no-longer-roadworthy vehicle that’s ready to be scrapped, give Lakehead Scrap Metal a call.
We can help arrange to have the vehicle picked up and brought to our yard.
Once it arrives at Lakehead, the vehicle is weighed across our scale and you’re paid for your scrap vehicle based on the scale weight and applicable scrap value.
No trying to figure out how to move a vehicle that doesn’t run.
No need to find a trailer.
Just give us a call and we’ll help work out the pickup.

There are advantages to a little elbow room.
For contractors and crews hauling scrap, a trip to the yard shouldn’t turn into part of the day’s workload. At Lakehead, the yard is open, straightforward, and easy to move through — with room for trucks, trailers, and working vehicles to get in, unload, and get back on the road.
Nothing complicated. Just room to work.
