My life as a Restaurant Owner vs. a Digital Business Owner 🍽️💻.
I’m grateful for both businesses, but they’ve taught me two completely different ways of working..
🍽️ Restaurant Owner Life
Opening and closing times.
Staff schedules.
Inventory.
Customer service.
Last-minute problems.
Being physically present when the business needs me..
There’s always something happening. 😅.
💻 Digital Business Owner Life
My laptop and phone are my office.
I can work around my family schedule.
I can create content from almost anywhere.
Automation handles a big part of the process.
And I can choose when to sit down and focus on my business..
One business taught me hard work, responsibility and resilience..
The other taught me the value of flexibility, systems and time freedom..
And running both at the same time has made me realize something….
Making money matters.
But having control over your time matters too..
I love my restaurant and everything we’ve built through it. ❤️.
But I’m also grateful I decided to build something that doesn’t always require me to physically be there..
Because at this stage of my life, I don’t just want to build businesses..
I want to build a life I actually have time to enjoy. ❤️.

Meet Inderjeet — a pharmacist from India who later studied to become a Lab Technician in Canada, but made the decision to put her career on hold and dedicate herself to raising her children.

For almost 14 years, she was a stay-at-home mom. �

As her kids grew, one thought started becoming stronger:

Last week, I took my kids to Niagara Falls and Thousand Islands for a little summer adventure. ☀️❤️
Between hotels, food, activities, tickets, gas and all the little things in between, I ended up spending almost $1,500.
And it really made me think…
Making memories with our kids is priceless, but let’s be practical — the experiences definitely come with a price tag. 😅
As a mom, I want to be able to take my kids places, let them experience new things and enjoy their summer without constantly thinking, “Can we afford this?”
That’s one of the reasons I personally believe having more than one source of income is so important.
For me, building an additional income isn’t about buying expensive things or showing off.
It’s about having more choices.
Being able to say YES to the trip.
YES to the activity.
YES to another adventure.
YES to making memories with my children. ❤️
If a few focused hours of my day can help me build an additional source of income that gives my family more experiences like these, for me, it’s absolutely worth it.
Because my kids won’t stay this little forever. ❤️
