Some people say AI is all you need. But I've learned it's not that simple.

AI is touted as the game-changer in marketing, and tools like Instantly.ai, Clay.ai (Claygent), and Apollo.io have certainly upped the ante.

They've enabled me to send targeted emails in masse while maintaining a personalized touch, expanding my reach without diluting the message.

However, the true value of AI isn't in replacing human interaction but in enhancing it.

Why? Because brevity grabs attention.

Forget the usual "Hey Name, I hope you're doing well today." Instead, attach a question to the end of your 9-word opener to make it easy for potential clients to respond.

Here are 3 examples you can start using today:

"Hi Name, are you still operating/running X company?"
"Hey Name, do you still offer your X service?"
"Hey Name, are you running any challenges right now?"

I've achieved 25-30% response rates with the first example during cold FB outreach.

Take it from my client Brian, who runs an agency building landing pages for home services. He told us to pause the cold outreach campaign until we could install a commission-only appointment setter to handle the influx of leads.

This easy tweak hat you can implement right now, will improve your response rates from cold outbound (emails, dms, calls).

Simply only ask one question in your messages....

If you're already doing that, perfect!

If not, this is what your messaging probably looks like:

"Hey First Name, how's it going today? Are you still launching X product?"

Or

"Hey First Name, how's it going today? INSERT LONG PARAGRAPH ABOUT YOUR SERVICES, YOUR PTICH AND ASK FOR A CALL AT THE END"

Now these message have 2 questions, and the recipient may choose to answer 1 or the other. However a lot of the time.they won't respond at all. It takes more effort for them to decide what to answer than to just move forward and skip the message or hit report...

I would reframe this message like this:

"Hey First Name, I hope you're day is going well! Are you still launching X product?"

Simple, to the point, and it's majority of the time it's a "Yes" or "No" answer you'll receive.

The goal is to get the conversation started, not to pitch in the first message.

The power of 30K NEW conversations per month

Depending on your offer, niche and messaging, you will likely experience a reply rate of 1%-4%. The replies will be inclusive of both positive and negative replies.

Your appointment booking rate will be approximately 1-3% on total conversations.

EX:
-30k Conversations per month @ 1%-4% reply rate= 300-1200 replies
-30k Conversations per month @ 1%-3% booking rate= 300-900 appointments booked

We recommend booking 15-minute discovery calls rather than 30-45-minute sales calls. The reasoning behind this is that you will have to do a lot of qualifying of the leads that show up (pricing, problem, timeline, decision making, etc).

Next is show-up rates.

You will likely experience show-up rates of 60%-70%.

EX:
-300-900 appointments @ 60% show-up rate= 180-540 calls conducted.

From here, you will qualify approximately 50% of the leads who showed up.

EX:
-180-540 discovery calls conducted @ 50% qualification rate= 90-270 SALES CALLS BOOKED.

If SET correctly, your show-up rates for your sales calls will be around 80%.

EX:
-90-270 sales calls booked @ 80% show-up rate= 72-216 SALES CALLS CONDUCTED.

NOW IT'S TIME TIME TO CLOSE, CLOSE, CLOSE!

You should be able to close at least 20% of all sales calls conducted.

EX:
-72-216 sales calls conducted @ 20% close rate= 14-44 DEALS CLOSED.

If your average ticket price is $3000, that's $42,000-$432,000 ADDED PER MONTH.

Yes, the variation is huge, but your offer and messaging matter, and that's something that we CANNOT stress enough.
