Meetings should move work forward, not leave everyone wondering, “Wait… what did we just decide?”
I like to think of a meeting as a mini project.
It needs a purpose, the right people, a clear outcome, and a plan for what happens next.
Before the meeting, know why you are getting together.
During the meeting, try not to wander into seven side quests.
After the meeting, write down what was decided, who owns what, and where the next steps are being tracked.
That is how meetings become useful instead of just another calendar block we all secretly dread.
