You can do anything alone, except maybe move an extra large coach up a stairwell. If you can do that, props! But things are sometimes better and easier to do when you have a little help.

Find someone or surround yourself with good people. The kind of people who support you, encourage you, and make you a better version of yourself. It is nice to get a pep talk when things aren't going great or you hit a snag. Things aren't always easy. We all struggle sometimes.

Happiness is as a result of active choices you make everyday. It is also about how you perceive the things you can't control. That doesn't mean it is easy. It takes practice.

We all have bad days, weeks, months, job issues, family issues, etc. Don't take s**t personally. Elevate above the drama. Forgive others. Know that someone across from you might be going through a bit of hell worse than where you are at. You just never know. Being kind and showing gratitude may actually help you feel better about yourself. Doesn't hurt to try.

Setting goals is easy at first. We know what we want to do or be better at. We start strong and do great for a few days, then miss a day. Life gets in the way. We miss another day. We miss a few days in a row. Then we beat ourselves up and feel like it is too hard to try again. We feel like failures. This feeling keeps us from trying again.

So what to do instead... Commit to something smaller. 1 minute a day? Instead of everyday, how about 3 times a week? Figure out what works for you and go easy on yourself. You got this.
