🏡 What’s happening in Ontario real estate this fall?
August brought fewer sales and lower benchmark prices across Ontario compared with a year ago. In the GTA, sales and the average selling price were also down year over year.
For buyers, this can mean room to compare homes and negotiate. For sellers, recent comparable sales matter when setting an asking price. And for investors, the numbers need to work at today’s financing costs.
Swipe through for the Ontario and GTA snapshots, then a look at what those trends could mean for you. Barrie and Simcoe each have their own local market conditions, so I’m happy to help you look at the numbers for a specific neighbourhood or property.
