Often times we fiddle and continue looking for perfection but if you define done, you know when to stop.

This book is AMAZING.

Looking to improve your writing game fast?

Use writing tools such as Grammarly, which will catch grammatical errors, or help depict the tone of what you have written.

Other apps such as WordTune will give you suggestions of how to rewrite the sentence or paragraph you entered into it.

A small writing tip we can forget is to keep it simple. There’s no need to throw in bigger words in every sentence.

If you have the time to dedicate to it, you can brush up on the basics of writing. This includes grammar rules or writing styles.

You can use OUR Sprints as time dedicated to relearning these rules.

During meetings, it’s noted that only 5% is remembered when employees don’t write anything down.

Use this post as a reminder or encouragement to start taking notes at meetings.

The issue with note-taking is that sometimes irrelevant information can be written down. Or, if you are someone who writes verbatim, you can miss key points by trying to get everything down.

Here are some tips for taking notes:
Divide your notes into the following sections: issues, decisions, actions, and questions.
Write by hand.
Studies show you remember written notes better.
Summarize and confirm.

As workers, it can slip our minds to drink water.

When you hear this next fact, you'll be running for the nearest glass of water.

When you are 3-4% dehydrated, your productivity drops by 25-30%.

Why is this? Well, when your body is dehydrated, the body has an increase in temperature and heart rate. Two factors staggering our mental ability to work.

So get up and pour yourself a glass, or come to work with a large and sustainable water bottle!
