According to S&P Global FinLit Survey, which is recognized as the world's largest, most comprehensive global measurement of financial literacy.
More than 150,000 adults inn over 140 countries found
only 1 in 3 is financially literate.

That's about 3.5 billion adults who don't understand basic money concepts like interest, inflation and spreading risk.

“To write well, you need to live an interesting life”

I keep hearing this, but what if you live an interesting life, but don’t see it that way? Interesting life is a point of view. It’s subjective.

I think we all live an interesting life. But we compare, we judge, we analyze:

“This is exciting”

“This is boring”

“That person has a better life”

“Nothing much is happening to me”

Missing the fact that life is magically happening, even without our contribution.

An interesting life may not be something to create, rather, something we need to learn to see.

Over the weekend, a friend asked me what the purpose of life is.

I said: the purpose of life is to live this life to the fullest extent.

That’s too simplistic to really answer my question! Was her response. A bit annoyed.

But dahling, life IS simple, but we think it’s much more than what really is. We like to complicate things. So we reject simplicity under the illusion that there’s a lot more to it.

Just like this flower. There are so many words and adjectives we can use to describe this flower. But it’s just a living flower. But of course we have to make a story of it, an art perhaps, and so we begin the circus…

It is a SKILL, acquired from awareness that one can see life for what it is.
