what actually drains you more after a shoot?

Do you still enjoy post-production… or has it slowly become the “never-ending part” of the job?

Curious how everyone here handles it, do you edit everything yourself or have you ever thought about outsourcing that part so you can just focus on shooting + clients?

Editing tip that changed my workflow:

Always correct white balance before color grading.

If your tones are off, no preset will look right.

Fix light first → everything else becomes easier.

Fall has a way of making everything beautiful, but beautiful doesn't have to mean overly orange. :fallen_leaf: The best fall edits, to me, are the ones where the warmth feels intentional.

Natural skin tones.
Rich but controlled foliage.
Soft highlights.
Consistent colour from the first frame to the last.

Because an edit shouldn't take over a photographer's vision.

It should make that vision feel even more complete.

The edit doesn’t always need to be dramatic.

Sometimes it’s just 5% more.
