We heard you, Ontario dance community!

The Transitions & Transformations survey has been slimmed down and simplified thanks to your feedback. Take the survey today: https://ca1se.voxco.com/S2/114/dance/

We know that Ontario's rehearsal and creation space landscape has changed dramatically since the beginning of the pandemic. We need your help to access solid data to address issues like lack of access faced by the Ontario dance community.

We thank you for your participation and for sharing this streamlined survey with your networks. Look out for the full report in the Fall!✨

Calling all dance artists, companies, and facility operators!

Nordicity and Bridget MacIntosh have been engaged by the Dance Umbrella of Ontario to conduct research into the quantity, quality, and availability of dance rehearsal spaces in Ontario. To do this, we need your help. Take our survey today: https://ca1se.voxco.com/S2/114/dance/

Ontario’s dance community was hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic. Public health measures shut down the in-person activities of our dance communities for more than a year – forcing some of the province’s vital dance hubs to close permanently. As we continue to navigate this evolving pandemic environment, the dance sector needs data and research to support their transition back to the studio. That’s why we’re working with DUO on the Transition & Transformation in the Ontario Dance Sector study.

Please share the survey far and wide with your networks. The survey will be closing on April 21st.

We thank you all in advance for your contributions to this research, and we look forward to paving a way forward for Ontario’s dance community with your support!
