Hello, to all of my awesome Shmartees. How are all of you and your families doing? I hope you are all safe, healthy, happy, and your lives are full of love. I don't use social media as much anymore, but I sincerely hope that you are all doing well.
I just wanted to give you all an update on my film submission to TIFF (Toronto International Film Festival).
They responded to me and told me that I was not accepted, BUT as the proverb goes, "when one door closes, another opens."
So, even though my film will not be screened at the festival, just because I have a feature film and I submitted it to the festival, they offered me a huge discount on an Industry Pass with Professional Accreditation to take part in the Film Festival this year.
This may not sound like a big deal, but it is huge for me. I have literally been trying to get an Industry Pass and Professional Accreditation for a long time.
So, I was definitely meant to submit my film to TIFF otherwise I would never have gotten this opportunity.
I am grateful, first and foremost, to God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit.
And then secondly, I am soooo grateful to all of YOU, my dear family and friends for joining me on this journey from the beginning. It has been 8 years of my life and you have all been here with me. Thank you very much from the bottom of my heart.
This Industry Pass gives me access to events with Distributors, and Marketers, which is exactly what I need. I will be able to pitch my movie, and God willing, someone will buy it, and launch it for all of you to see it on either a streaming platform, or cable TV, or online.
I will keep you all posted if someone picks it up at TIFF.
I love you all so much. God bless you always. Big hugs and kisses. Spread the LOVE! xoxo 🙏😘💖😻
