বাংলাদেশের জলবায়ু নিয়ে উদ্বিগ্ন ক্লাস্প-এলসিএলএস:

বাংলাদেশ প্রেক্ষিতে আন্তর্জাতিক আইনের প্রয়োগ নিয়ে ‘সেন্টার ফর ল সাস্টেইনেবিলিটি এন্ড পিস (ক্লাস্প) এবং ‘লন্ডন কলেজ অব লিগ্যাল স্টাডিজ (এলসিএলএস) এর যৌথ কর্মশালা অনুষ্ঠিত হয়েছে। বাংলাদেশ সুপ্রিম কোর্টের আইনজীবী ব্যারিস্টার খালেদ হামিদ চৌধুরী কর্মশালাটি সঞ্চালনা করেন।
কর্মশালায় গবেষক, শিক্ষক ও আইনজীবী ড. মোঃ মাহতাব উদ্দিন এবং আইনজীবী ও গবেষক ব্যারিস্টার নূর পুণম বক্তব্য রাখেন। নরডিক অঞ্চলের বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় থেকে উচ্চতর শিক্ষাগ্রহণ করা এই দুই বক্তাই নরডিক-শৈলীর আঙ্গিকে সহশিক্ষণের পরিবেশ সৃষ্টি করেন।
কানাডার গুয়েলফ বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের শিক্ষক ও পোস্ট ডক্টরাল গবেষক ড. মোঃ মাহতাব উদ্দিন তার উপস্থাপনায় আন্তর্জাতিক জলবায়ু আইনের কার্যাবলী ও রূপরেখা তুলে ধরেন। এছাড়াও তিনি প্রযুক্তি স্থানান্তর এবং মেধাসত্ত্ব আইনের গুরুত্বের ওপরও জোর দেন। এসময় এলসিএলএস (সাউথ) এর প্রাক্তন শিক্ষার্থী ও লাপল্যান্ড বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের পিএইচডি গবেষক ব্যারিস্টার নূর পুণম আন্তর্জাতিক জলবায়ু আইনের কাঠামোর মধ্যে জলবায়ু অভিযোজনের সাথে স্থানীয় জ্ঞানের সম্পর্ক নিয়েও আলোচনা করেন।
