Whenever there is an argument, you start attacking the other person.

But that never helped!

Next time do this:

1. Tell them your observation: “When X happens”
2. Share how you feel : “Make me feel Y”
3. Express your need: “I want Z”
4. Make your request: “Can you do A”
?”

When the pressure is high, your initial reaction is often the wrong one.

That reaction undermines your leverage.

We tend to view a quick response or immediate speech as a sign of competence.

But silence is not weakness; it is a strategic advantage.

A knee-jerk reaction means your amygdala is in control, not your logic.

You aren't solving the problem; you are panicking.

Prevent a system failure. Deploy the S.T.O.P. protocol.

It acts as a cognitive circuit breaker:
S – Stop
T – Take a breath
O – Observe
P – Proceed

Observe the situation. What is happening in the room? What is happening in your body?
