Nicholas Kalimin Photography Nicholas Kalimin is a Toronto based photographer who enjoys photographing bands, lifestyles, parties, fashion, culture, and landscape.

Photography has always been an integral part of my life. It was the simplest method of capturing and showing to others the beauty of the world around me. Every picture is important and each tells its own story. I pay attention to the small details that capture the immediacy of our everyday lives. Photography is, in essence, the art of appreciation. As a self-taught photographer, living in Canada has afforded me the best opportunities to practice photography. My earliest goals as an avid camper were to learn how to properly compose and capture the Canadian landscape. I quickly learned that to get the shots you are looking for, you do what is necessary to make that happen: carry a tripod, never be satisfied, and never shoot automatic. By never being satisfied, I’m always seeking to out-do my own work. I am driven by the passion of capturing the next big moment. I relish the opportunity to photograph new subject matter and styles. From parties, to products, fashion, and people, life is never a dull moment. Let me help you capture it ;)
