Severn II of Ardmaleish is one of the most celebrated International 8 Metres ever built. Designed by Alfred Mylne and launched in 1934 by Bute Slip Dock Co. of Scotland, she won the 1935 Coupe de France representing Great Britain and went on to decades of racing success on the River Clyde before coming to Canada in 1975.

Now sailing from the Royal Canadian Yacht Club (RCYC), Severn II has continued her winning record with multiple Club, LORC, and NAEMA championships. From 2023–2025 she underwent a complete professional refit, returning her to exceptional structural and cosmetic condition.
