Most people think pricing is a number problem. It isn't. It's a clarity problem wearing a price tag.

I open with two clients who got it wrong in opposite directions. A therapist with 30 years of experience charging $500 for a three-hour workshop, who I later coached up to $2,500 an hour. And a speaker asking $10,000 a keynote with no speaking history, who got silence from every organizer.

Overpricing doesn't get you a no. It gets you nothing at all.
