More Than A Checklist To Be Done

I started the day with a clear intention to complete a goal.

Early this morning, I was focused on a workshop and class, listening, learning, and taking it all in.

Simply completing the class was not the real box I needed to check.

The real goal was not just to sit and listen passively.
The goal was to intentionally apply the new skills in ways that are useful and meaningful.

Learning becomes valuable when we begin using what we take away from a lesson.

It’s about growing through lessons…
personalizing them…and turning them into resources I can rely on in everyday life. Each day and everyday aligning the skills and knowledge with what I want to become.

That’s where the real benefit happens.
