The silence that follows a storm of ideas is always the most telling. 🏔️

Years of planning, months of curation, and days of high-intensity work don’t end with a final round of applause. They end in the quiet smiles, the lingering handshakes, and the positive energy.

I am content in the conviction that Altitude delivered exactly what it promised: the seeds of thought, the frameworks of influence, and the tools to scale.

These leaders are now more than adequately equipped to move the needle and architect an industry that lasts.

In the quiet that remains on the lakeside terrace, my heart is ready for the next time.

This is the beginning of a continuing journey.

A Deeply Felt Thank You To:

Our Attendees: Who took a risk, took a pause, and traveled from across the country to engage and grow. Your energy was the fuel for this entire machine.
Our Speakers: The architects who built the foundations of our sessions and the pillars of tomorrow’s leadership.
Our Sponsors: The vital partners who believed in this vision and played a crucial role in making the impossible possible.
My Team: The invisible heroes behind the scenes who turned raw ideas into seamless integration.

We didn't just host a summit; we started a movement.

Until we meet again at the top. 🏔️✨

Over the last few days, we have meticulously built a new architecture for the modern mortgage leader.

We’ve deconstructed everything from institutional scale and marketing to personal branding, publishing, speaking and the science of play.

We’ve tackled the modern-day risks that keep us awake at night. 🏔️

But as we approached our final session, I realized that our modern adversities—as challenging as they are—rarely require us to tap into the deepest, most primal cores of our courage. Yet, it is that very level of resilience that is required to not just achieve success, but to sustain it through the inevitable dips in our growth.

has survived the unthinkable.

Her journey of forging extraordinary resilience moved this room to a profound silence. While we often talk about resilience in the context of business cycles or market shifts, Amanda showed us what it means to harness the human spirit when everything else is stripped away.
My admiration and respect for her has transcended every expectation I had.

She didn’t just give us a speech; she gave us a new lens through which to view our own strength.

Thank you to for sponsoring this amazing keynote.

I often describe myself as a jack of all trades, wearing many hats across different industries. One of those hats is that of a keynote speaker. 🎤🏔️

I know the process intimately. But I’ll be the first to admit: it doesn't always come naturally. While there is talent, there is also a very specific framework.

It has taken me years of self-discipline, trial and error, and a healthy dose of humor to get where I am.

I know so many mortgage leaders in the room have revolutionary ideas and insights that could help us scale as an industry—but they might feel the stage isn’t for them. They have the message, but perhaps not the platform or the voice to convey it.

That is exactly why is on the Altitude stage today.

As a keynote speaker myself, I have found immense value in Eric’s insights. He is one of the globe’s most sought-after professional speaking coaches, and his session, The Unstoppable Speaker, is a masterclass in shifting from a messenger to a leader of the room.

Whether you’re leading a small team or standing before hundreds, Eric provided the framework to ensure your message isn't just heard—it's felt.

Thank you to for proudly supporting his session.

There is a specific, hidden architecture at play when you decide to launch a book. 📖🏔️

Regardless of your motivation, there are always the unknown unknowns—how to market yourself convincingly, how to establish your branding as a definitive expert, and how to make your voice heard when you’re just starting out.

I met during my own journey of publishing The Business of Brokering.

Perhaps it was fate.

Beyond the technicalities of sales, Suzanne—the CEO of Prominence Publishing and a best-selling author of over 20 books—is a master strategist. She has guided over 1,000 professionals to turn their raw expertise into real influence. She helps leaders create books that don’t just sit on a shelf, but elevate credibility and position industries at the forefront of the conversation.

If you know anything about me, you know I don’t gatekeep. Suzanne has helped me immensely, reshaping how I view the power of publishing and intentional messaging.

Suzanne has shared with mortgage leaders in the room how to move from expert to authority. For many in this room, a book is the missing piece of the puzzle to attract the right opportunities and scale with intention.

The pen is just as powerful as the blueprint. It’s time to author the future.

Modern leadership is a noisy place.

We are relentlessly consumed by branding how-tos, endless podcasts, and the siren song of self-help culture that promises a one-size-fits-all solution to the challenges we face.

I’ve always believed prevention is better than a cure, and that is exactly why Brandi Heather is on the Altitude stage. 🏔️

Her session, Leaders Play First, is backed by science and proven under pressure. She isn't just giving us another to-do list; she is teaching us Playful Intelligence; a way to literally rewind the brain and change how we tackle modern challenges.

By unlocking creativity through play, we aren’t just surviving the grind; we are building the mental resilience to lead for the long haul.

Watching this room of architects rediscover their play is perhaps the most vital work we’ve done all week.
It’s time to trade burnout for breakthrough. 🧩✨

They say "work hard, play hard."

I’ve never been entirely sure where that phrase originated, and honestly, I don’t always conform to it. But I am a fierce advocate for balance.

I believe the true work—the kind that shifts an industry—doesn’t just happen in a lecture hall. It starts when the day’s ideas have been absorbed and the architects of tomorrow finally congregate to connect, bond, and decompress over shared experiences.

I curated this evening at the Rosseau Ballroom specifically for that reason.

Moving from the intensity of the masterclasses to the soul of live music (Subprime is the coolest mortgage band ever) and curated group dinners isn't just "entertainment"—it’s where the professional becomes personal.
It’s where the real partnerships are forged.

That said, I have to admit: I am absolutely delighted by how this group knows how to kick back. After a hectic day of deep work, seeing the industry’s best leaders finally exhale and unwind is exactly what I envisioned.

The ideas were born in the workshops; the relationships are being sealed right here. 🏔️✨

I have a confession to make: this realtor panel almost didn’t happen. 🏔️

It was less than three weeks before the Summit when it dawned on me what Altitude was sorely lacking—the raw insights and "boots on the ground" expertise of the real estate leaders who navigate the same stormy waters we do.

I’d love to tell you I had it all figured out on Day One, but the truth is, even the best visions hit a wall. We all get compartmentalized in the "box" of what we know.

Sitting in on this high-level session today—Inside the Minds of Real Estate Leaders—I am so grateful for that last-minute pivot. Hearing how these giants are winning amidst crisis and competition is the "fresh air" our industry needs.

A massive thank you to our expert panel for showing us where some real opportunities lie:

✨ Holly Carroll – Managing Director, The Agency Muskoka & Best-Selling Author of Closing Deals in Heels.
✨ Scottie Henderson – The "Marketing Magician" from eXp Realty Brokerage.
✨ Tahani Aburaneh – Founder of BuildHer Network & Real Estate Broker, Tahani International.
✨ Peggy Hill – Broker & CEO of The Peggy Hill Team ( #1 RE/MAX Team in Canada).

Their take on the current market is exactly the kind of cross-industry brilliance that helps us build a machine that lasts. We are better when we listen to the voices outside our own echo chamber.

If there is one person who has successfully navigated the "future" of our industry before it even arrived in Canada, it’s Anthony Rice. 🇦🇺🇨🇦

When I was hand-selecting the voices for Altitude, Anthony was non-negotiable.

I knew our attendees needed to hear his perspective—not just on workforce re-engineering, but on the massive lessons we can draw from the Australian mortgage revolution.

Australia is often seen as the blueprint for where the Canadian broker market is headed, and Anthony has been at the very forefront of that shift.

Sitting in the room today, I found myself—like everyone else—rapt in attention. Hearing him break down the structural differences between our two markets wasn't just interesting; it was a wake-up call. He highlighted exactly where we, as mortgage leaders, have the greatest opportunity to improve, evolve, and ultimately, lead.

I chose Anthony for this keynote because he challenges us to look outside our own borders to find the missing pieces of our business models. Judging by the notes being taken and the energy in the room, it was a learning experience we all desperately needed.

Anthony, thank you for bringing that "outsider" clarity to our lakeside masterclass and thank you to for proudly supporting his keynote.

The blueprint is getting clearer. 🏔️✨

The Bridge to Institutional Scale 🏛️🤝

Listening to our lender executive panel today, one thing is abundantly clear: the future of this industry isn’t just about individual grit—it’s about Institutional Integration.

For the broker owners and mortgage leaders in this room, these aren't just partners; they are the architects of the systems that allow us to scale.

It’s one thing to hear about a tech stack or a new workflow, but it’s another to hear it directly from the executives who are building the foundations we stand on.

The value being dropped on stage right now is transformative. From navigating complex leadership challenges to implementing the cutting-edge systems that trade daily chaos for collaborative breakthroughs, our lender partners are moving from "vendors" to vital assets.

A massive thank you to our panel for their transparency and for helping us build a machine that lasts:

Daniel Webster, President, Maple Financial
Charlotte Koch, Director, CMLS
Elena Robinson, Vice President - Residential Sales, First National Financial LP
Mario Cloutier, Head of Creditor Insurance, Manulife
Greg Sinclair, COO, Magenta Capital Corporation

And of course to Michelle Campbell, for being such a great moderator- ensuring that we don't just work in our businesses, but that we architect an industry that rises beyond the status quo.

If you’ve ever wondered what it looks like when a vision meets its perfect architect, this is it. 🏔️✨

When I was first blueprinting the details of Altitude, the speakers were always at the core.

I felt the mortgage industry was craving fresh perspectives—experiences that lived outside our typical "box." I did my research, looked elsewhere, and found Theresa Corazon.

I studied her advocacies, her mission, and her intent, but nothing prepared me for the powerhouse she is in person.

Listening to her on stage right now, my respect for her has reached new heights. She is delivering exactly what this room of mortgage leaders needs: the missing pieces to build a future that lasts.

Theresa, thank you for being intentional, authentic, and for helping us improve with your actionable frameworks. The energy in this room is proof that when you bring in the right voices, the entire industry listens.
