Here’s what I wish. I knew when I was just starting my coaching business…

I wish I knew that it was normal to feel scattered and overwhelmed. I felt like there was something wrong with me because I couldn’t quite figure out the millions of things I needed to know to be successful. It felt like everybody had it all dialled I and I felt extremely lonely. But in reality, so many of us struggle to put the pieces together.

I wish I knew that charging by the hour and pricing myself really low was actually killing my brand and my spirit at the same time. It’s so tempting to be the cheapest coach on the block, but honestly, it’s a direct path to burnoutville. The truth is that nobody wants to hire the cheapest coach, but I had to learn that the hard way.

I wish I knew that I didn’t have to know everything about marketing to hit my revenue goals. I only had to understand a few key foundations to attract and convert the right clients. I was making it waaay harder than it needed to be!

Lastly, I wish I knew that I didn’t have to figure it out all on my own. I did eventually hire a mentor to teach me how to build a thriving coaching business, and fast-track my results, but I wish I did it sooner. I would’ve gotten a lot further a lot faster and with more ease. I woulda made more money sooner and experienced more joy along the way.

Here are the 3 things every successful needs…

1. A strong coaching program (your offer) that gets results

2. An audience that needs that offer

3. A clear way of connecting that offer to that audience (your sales process)

Sounds simple, doesn’t it. And the truth is, it can be.

But let’s face it- in this day and age it’s so easy to get distracted by the latest social media trends, AI rabbit holes, and a million other nonsensical things vying for a place on your ever-growing to-do list.

And I was guilty of this too!
