Job description
CoinPlay is looking for a youth ages 15 - 30 with the following criteria/interests:
- Computer Science or related degree;
- Be legally entitled to work in Canada as a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or person who has been granted refugee status
- Reside in BC
- Preferably has 2-3 years of industry experience; understands Internet-database connectivity complexities; exhibits proficiency with one or more of Node.js, .NET, Java or other;
is knowledgeable in the use of JavaScript (including React, Vue or similar), CSS, responsive design and more;
- Is a quick learner, who likes to stay current in evolving web technologies; and, enjoys a technical challenge.
The ideal candidate is someone:
- With an appreciation and understanding of good human-computer interface and design;
- Who balances taking initiative with the need to work within a framework;
- Who understands that integrity means delivering on your promises;
- Who focuses on the strengths of what the web can do;
The successful candidate:
- Will have superior people skills, including verbal and written communication;
- Understands the importance of timely and accurate communication and client service;
-Understands and uses project management principles, with strong attention to detail;
-Is a team player who takes responsibility in a supportive team setting
- Will thrive in a fast-paced, self-directed environment.
This Internship position includes:
