My latest Substack post is out. There's a turbulence as spring arrives. But new growth bursts forth, resilient through unexpected frosts, heavy rain and stormy weather.

We can learn a lot from watching new buds, birds and flowers emerge and how they cope with the sudden changes in their environment. They don't resist. Because every season and every year is not the same as the last, they need to be resilient in order to carry on.

It only took 15 minutes for me to feel a sense of peace wash over me. I actually feel the sensation and the change in my nervous system. What was the hardest and took the longest was to convince myself to just get out and do it!

I am so glad I did. Once again, I do know this, but my brain still wants to try to keep me in a negative loop.

But, building a habit by scheduling a mini nature reset daily, or a few times a week, can keep you accountable. And, you can do it indoors or out.

Imagine living so close to nature you can actually hear the stars.🌌

When author Laurens van der Post lived among the Bushmen of the Kalahari, they once asked Laurens why he couldn’t hear the stars.
When he said he couldn’t, they were shocked and pitied him—believing anyone cut off from nature’s voice must meant deep spiritual illness.

Think about that. For most of human history, people talked with animals, rivers, winds, and skies like it was normal. Today? We treat nature like a thing—silent, separate, a commodity.
