We are deeply saddened to hear of Dolly Parton's passing.

Her Imagination Library has changed countless lives across the world since 1995, mailing free books to children from birth to age five and sparking a lifelong love of reading. In 2018, we were proud to help support the establishment of the Fraser Valley chapter through a matching grant program.

Thank you, Dolly, for your incredible legacy.

It's been a busy couple of weeks on the golf course for Baker Newby! 🏌️⛳
We were proud to sponsor three charity golf tournaments supporting meaningful causes in our community.

The Westbow Charity Golf Tournament marked its fifth year, with proceeds going to Voice of Hope, an organization caring for widows, orphans, and communities in need in Kenya. What started as an event for trade partners has grown into a community tradition built on generosity and connection.

The Chilliwack Chamber's Envision Business on the Green brought local businesses together for a day of networking and friendly competition. As a Pillar Partner of the Chamber, we're always glad to take part in this community favourite!

The Archway Community Services Golf Tournament supports the 90+ programs Archway runs across the Fraser Valley, from crisis support and food access to services for newcomers, seniors, and families. The tournament has raised more than $535,000 since it began.

We're grateful to support these organizations and the important work they do across our community!

Some of our staff hit the pavement over the weekend at Run for Water in Abbotsford, raising $672.31 as a team!
Donations are going towards bringing clean water to communities in Kasese, Uganda and Tshikapa and Kikwit in DR Congo, where access to safe water transforms lives by reducing disease, keeping kids in school, and giving families more time and safety.

Congratulations to Adnan Habib and Harleen Mann on their recent court victory! Acting for Farm Credit Canada, they successfully obtained the appointment of a receiver over a large agricultural operation in the BC Supreme Court. The decision in Farm Credit Canada v. Desert Valley Vineyard Ltd., 2026 BCSC 893 will be a leading case in BC insolvency law.
