This is why Bona Fide Studio exists.

It exists because a brand is the closest thing a business has to a testimony, it’s what people believe about you before they ever meet you. And when you get to build that with someone, you’re not designing a mark. You’re standing inside the thing they’ve prayed over, borrowed for, lost sleep over.

That’s holy ground. And I get invited onto it almost every week.

Because before anyone tastes your coffee, they've already decided something about you.

Tambayan is Tagalog for “hangout spot.”

That word came before the café did, and it’s been the north star for everything we’ve built with them this year.

The new site is live: tambayancafe.com

Menu, both locations, the story behind the hand-painted walls, and online ordering, all in one place. Riverview and Sackville, and now everywhere online.

Building for a place people already love is a specific kind of pressure. You’re not inventing anything. You’re trying to make the internet feel the way the room feels. We think we got close.

Introducing Freedom Coffee.

Today, July 30th, marks World Day Against Trafficking in Persons and it’s the perfect day to share why it exists.

Freedom coffee exists to help people live free and full. That means:

Combating human trafficking with every cup, every event, every resource, we stand against trafficking in all its forms.

Disrupting cycles of poverty proactively working to break the cycle in the community ecosystems of Greater Moncton.

Facilitating restoration partnering with others to restore victims and building bridges for at-risk people to receive the care and support they need.

Right here in Greater Moncton, the Maritimes, and beyond through raising awareness, supporting front-line organizations like Community of Hope NB and Ally Global, and creating programs and initiatives alongside other like-mission teams.

This isn’t just coffee. It’s a movement.
