As some of you know, I have been involved over the past years in research; research that has a direct impact on my son Nolin and his ultra rare disease, but also around systems and our lived experience. I have been partnering with many initiatives in the hopes to help create more awareness and make a better world for palliative children, children living with medical complexity and their families.
My first piece got published today. It is a commentary on a medical paper that captures the type of trauma our families go through and potential ways to mitigate some of it.
