Still coming down from such a lovely week.

I’m so grateful to everyone who came to IMPRINT Vancouver, spent time with the work, and shared in the conversations around it.

Four of my paintings are now heading to new homes, with Juliet already settling into hers.

Thank you for being part of it.

Some works really need to be seen in person.

This is one I’ll be showing in IMPRINT Vancouver. Its surface has developed through layers of paint, mark-making, erasure and discovery — much of which is difficult to capture in a photograph.

IMPRINT continues in Vancouver — bringing together my work and that of my late father, Charles “Chuck” Gosbee. His art shaped the way I see and continues to influence my work today.

I’d love to see you there.

So lovely to see this painting settled into its beautiful home. Thank you to my friends for sending me these photographs…it looks as though it was made for this room.

Thank you to everyone who attended the opening of Imprint. It was a wonderful evening of conversations, memories, and shared discoveries.

One of the things I enjoy most is watching people move from a close look at the surface of a painting to stepping back and seeing it as a whole. This carousel begins that same way.

If you missed the opening, Imprint continues at The Old School House Arts Centre in Qualicum Beach through August 29.
