Altered State / / We’re always in awe of our dedicated and hardworking Makeup graduates that find their homes on the sets of the coolest TV shows. One such show is locally filmed, Altered Carbon. We’ve had a myriad of grads dedicate some of their valuable time to creating characters on the show such as Ceilidh Dunn, Key Makeup Artist; Ashley Forshaw , Key Makeup Effects; Ailsa Macmillan, Key Hair Stylist; Victoria Ferguson , Assistant Makeup Artist; Candice Harvey , Assistant Makeup Artist; Darci Jackson; along with Leanne Rae Podavin, who is a Blanche Macdonald instructor as well as graduate as a Special Effects Makeup Artist. Has anyone checked out Ghost Wars yet? Looks like it's coming to Netflix next month. Painting those ghosts everyday in the hot squamish sun was crazy 😓

Now that altered carbon is out, I can show off some of the fun makeups we did. Here's a few looks I created for the background walking down the streets of Bay City. We don't often get to do bright colours like this on set!
