We were doing what responsible adults are supposed to do.
And then Todd was let go and Elizabeth's income from the arts was never going to carry our family on its own. As responsible adults, first we said, "Say, what now??" and then we said the more reasonable, "Now what?"
That's when we found this online business.
Skeptical? You bet.
Plenty of questions? Yup.
Was it a responsible option?
Well, the regular way hadn't worked out so well, so… absolutely!
After all, we weren't looking for a magic solution. We were looking for another option, something we could build together, something that wasn't tied to one employer, one industry, or one person's job.
We've built a business that has given us choices we simply didn't have before. More flexibility. More time together. More confidence about our future. Is it work? Absolutely. But it's work we've chosen. Responsibly.
