🚶 HAWK Crosswalk Systems provide an active pedestrian crossing solution. When a pedestrian activates the system, the HAWK guides drivers through a sequence of warning and red indications, providing a clear indication when vehicles must stop for pedestrians.

☀️ 24/7 Solar Powered Beacons provide continuous flashing to increase the visibility of important roadway signs and can be used to provide advance warning at intersections and crosswalks. Just over six weeks to go until ITS California 2026! ☀️😎

The 31st ITS California Annual Conference & Exhibition is coming to Sacramento September 27–30, and this year’s Exhibit Hall is already sold out with 61 exhibitors bringing together the latest in intelligent transportation technology.

There’s plenty to look forward to. The Exhibit Hall will be a great place to connect with leading ITS vendors and solution providers, explore new technologies and products, and see live demonstrations from companies across the transportation industry. There will also be plenty of opportunities to network during the Exhibitors & Sponsors Reception and join the Industry Showcase, featuring exhibitor introductions, trivia, and prizes.

With so many people and technologies coming together under one roof, it’s a great opportunity to discover what’s happening across the industry and make new connections.

We had the pleasure of sponsoring the Saanich Volunteer Services Society's Victorian Picnic Fundraising Event back in June. Carol Turnbull, Executive Director of Saanich Volunteer Services Society, shares her experience working with us, and we'd love to share it with you:

"A big thank you to LaneLight for helping make the Saanich Volunteer Services Society's Victorian Picnic a success! To ensure that neighbours didn’t have too many cars on residential roads, we wanted to offer a shuttle service from Cedar Hill Recreation Centre. We were able to do this in partnership with Heyya Carts.

To make the shuttle route possible, SVSS needed to ensure every road along the route had a speed limit of no more than 40 km/hr. Working with the District of Saanich, the speed limit on Ocean View Road was temporarily reduced for the day of the event, as that road is normally 50km/hr. To safely notify drivers of the change, we needed temporary traffic signs, but we weren't sure where to find them.

After a bit of online searching, we came across LaneLight. One email was all it took. The response was quick, helpful, and demonstrated a genuine commitment to supporting the community.

We're grateful to LaneLight for lending us the traffic signs and for being one of the many community partners who helped make the Victorian Picnic a successful event. Thank you, LaneLight, for helping us create a wonderful day for our community!"

We're proud to have partnered with Southern Lighting & Traffic Systems on the installation of a new crossing system at West Side Elementary, Atlanta, GA, featuring LaneLight In-Road Warning Lights (IRWLs) and Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons (RRFBs).

Created in response to community concerns, this upgraded crossing is designed to improve safety and capture driver attention, helping students, parents, teachers, and school staff cross the road with greater confidence each day.

Thank you to Southern Lighting & Traffic Systems for being a valued partner on this project. We're honored to help create a safer journey to school for the West Side Elementary community. 🏫 🙆‍♀️ 🙆‍♂️
