Today, I was talking to another dad about mortgages, bills, groceries, activities for the kids… and just how tight life has become for so many families.

On the weekend, we celebrated 18 years of marriage. ❤️

It was so much fun reminiscing about the last 18 years but what was even better was dreaming BIG about the next 18 years. 🌟

This was HUGE for us. 🤩

If you could have heard our conversations on previous anniversaries, it was centred around feeling overwhelmed and uncertain about the future. Instead of enjoying ourselves, we were brainstorming business ideas or products or scrolling ways to earn from home. It was exhausting. 😮‍💨

Now we talk about our future with excitement, passion, ease, and possibility. 🙌

Kids are always paying attention and learning from everything we do and don’t do.

For a long time, our girls watched us be employees.

They watched us work long hours. 🫩
They watched Jeff travel. ✈️
They watched us go through six layoffs. 😩
They watched us start over again and again. 😮‍💨

And honestly? That was hard on all of us—but especially on them.

But now…

They’ve also watched us pivot to step outside the norm and build something for ourselves.

We are so grateful that we are now showing them the value of being an entrepreneur.

Now they watch us:

One of the questions we get all the time is:
“Is this MLM?”

And honestly… fair question.

We wondered the exact same thing at first.

Especially because Jeff & I had already tried 3 more traditional network marketing businesses before this.

What we found was that those business models relied heavily on:

❌ volume
❌ recruiting
❌ constantly chasing people
❌ inventory & parties
❌ treating everyone like an opportunity

And truthfully… it just didn’t align with who we were.

This business model is different.

What finally clicked for us was the concept of leverage.

Instead of trying to create MORE hours in the day to make more money… we learned how to use systems, automation, attraction marketing, and high-ticket products to work smarter.
