As we head into the final stretch of Black Friday, let me ask you something:
Is your promo strategy actually supporting your brand… or stressing it out?
This is the week where so many founders start second-guessing themselves:
➡️ “Should I discount more?”
➡️ “Am I losing momentum?”
➡️ “Is everyone doing better than me?”
➡️ “Will my customers disappear if I don’t join the chaos?”
You’re not imagining it — this week is notoriously tough.

Here are the big red flags I see every Black Friday:
✨ Brand dilution – all year you’ve positioned yourself as premium… and now suddenly everything’s 30% off.
✨ Mixed messaging – your story gets drowned out by “HURRY! SALE!” energy.
✨ Discounting the wrong things – especially hero SKUs that should never be heavily marked down.
✨ Inventory stress – not sure what to push, what to protect, or what to clear.
✨ Short-term gains vs. long-term damage – quick cash now, brand wobble later.
But it doesn’t have to feel like this.
