The Meter Man Inspections Inc. is a service provider of inspections, testing, modifications, repairs, and assembly, of highway tanks and portable tanks for the transportation of dangerous goods by road, in accordance with CSA B620-20. We serve clients across the province of Saskatchewan.
Due to steady growth, we are seeking a Mechanic / Millwright or someone with good mechanical background to assist with inspections, testing, and repairs of Anhydrous Ammonia transport, delivery, portable, and storage units.
Entry level position also available.
Position Summary:
Preform maintenance and repairs on NH3 equipment in accordance with company operations, procedures, and standards.
Assist with fabrication or modification.
Complete required paperwork including inspection reports, work orders, parts logs.
Ability to climb into, out of, and preform work in confined spaces.
Ability to work independently and as a team.
Ensure safe and appropriate operation of tools and equipment.
Preform all other duties as assigned.
Work in shop or field environment.
Monday to Friday 8am-4pm, with potential overtime.
Preferred Skills or Knowledge:
Welding
12 volt electrical
Pipe fitting
Good mechanical aptitude
Strong problem-solving skills
Written and verbal communication skills
Qualifications:
Valid drivers license
Legally entitled to work in Canada
