This weekend we celebrate the women whose love shapes our lives. Motherโs Day is a reminder of their strength, their sacrifices, and the countless ways they lift us up. Hereโs to the mothers, grandmothers, and motherโfigures who give so much of themselves every day. Happy Motherโs Day to all the incredible women who make our world brighter. ๐ธ๐
For Mother's Day you will find a smorgasbord of mouthwatering items that includes a pair of enormous & crunchy Chicken Katsu Sandwiches (topped with Gayuma's slaw & garlic mayo), a pair of savoury Pork Belly Skewers, a pair of succulent Lemongrass Chicken & Mango Wraps (with lettuce, cucumbers, carrots, peppers, red onions, Hoisin, and Garlic Mayo), and a generous helping of savory Veggie Cantonese Noodles.
For Vegetarian and Vegan Mothers, you will find a pair of enormous & crunchy Tofu Katsu Sandwiches (topped with Gayuma's slaw & garlic mayo), a pair of savoury Tofu Skewers, a pair of succulent Lemongrass Tofu & Mango Wraps (with lettuce, cucumbers, carrots, peppers, red onions, Hoisin, and Garlic Mayo), and a generous helping of savory Veggie Cantonese Noodles.
As always, all sauces and fixings are included with each box.
There is only one size to choose from; a Regular size Box (feeds 2-3) for $59.
Also, if you are really hungry, we have several delicious appetizer and dessert add-ons to complement this week's special from our local baker friends.
African Pot is offering savoury Ghana Meat Pies that are locally made from scratch in Waterloo as a starter. They are flaky pastry filled with perfectly seasoned minced beef, onions, and cubed potatoes that melt in your mouth with deliciousness. They come in packs of 2 pieces or 6 pieces for $6 and $15, respectively.
Sugbo Cakes () is offering a delightfully fluffy Bento Strawberry Shortcake for $12.50, and delicious gluten-free Silvanna Bites (crisp cashew meringue cookies layered with rich French Buttercream) for $24 per dozen.
Mama Vicki's Baked Goods is offering a gorgeous Mocha Cake (Chiffon cake with whipped mocha cream frosting) for $30 (includes Happy Mother's Day topper), and a Mango Graham Float (layers of graham crackers, fresh mango slices, and flavoured whipped cream and topped with graham cracker cumbs and mango slices) for $15 each.
Sweet Country is offering a moist Mini Vanilla Mousse Cake with Strawberry in Chocolate Cup for $20.50, and a box of decadent Chocolate, Vanilla, and Pistachios Cakesicles (two of each flavour) for $18.50 per half-dozen.
Lastly, we are introducing a new local baker to our menu collaboration. Sweet Girl Bakes has been creating cinnamon treats for the KW area for the past year and we are excited to offer her delicious goods for Mother's Day. For this coming Mother's Day, she is offering a pack of her signature soft and fluffy Sourdough Cinnamon Roll for $21 per half dozen and a mouthwatering Cinnamon Roll Trifle (layered trifle with chunks of soft and fluffy sourdough cinnamon rolls, vanilla bean cookie crumble, that are warmed by a cinnamon soak, and velvety vanilla bean custard) for $9 per cup.
