I turned 50 and had a little moment.
Not a crisis — more like a clarity.
I looked around at friends with pensions, holidays, retirement plans…
And I realized I had none of that.
Not because I didn't work hard.
Because I was in an industry that doesn't come with a safety net.
And I thought —
I want coffee on the patio on a Tuesday morning.
I want to hook up the RV on a Wednesday just because we feel like it.
I want that.
So I built toward it.

Honest question — are you more scared of failing or of staying exactly where you are? Because when I really sat with that question, the answer surprised me. Staying stuck scared me more. I had worked so hard for so long and had nothing building in the background. No plan. No exit. No safety net. The fear of trying something new was loud — but the fear of doing nothing was louder. Happy Mother’s Day to every mom, caregiver, and woman who gives so much of herself every single day. 💕
These roses are for my mom and my mother-in-law — two women who showed me what showing up really looks like.
And honestly? Days like today remind me exactly WHY I started building something different.
So I could actually be present.
Not counting down the hours. Not missing the moments. Just… here.
