I’m looking forward to hearing from residents, property owners, businesses, and stakeholders throughout the engagement process as we work together to help shape Rockwood’s future priorities and direction.

Grateful to the CPWA Manitoba Chapter for the opportunity to facilitate “Paving Over Problems: Conflict Resolution for Public Works Professionals” at the AMM Convention today.

A sincere thank you to the dedicated public works teams from across the province who joined the session. Your commitment to your communities, your willingness to share experiences, and the practical insight you bring to every discussion make these workshops meaningful.

Every time I work with public works professionals, I’m reminded how much I learn from you….your realism, your problem-solving mindset, and your ability to stay grounded under pressure. It’s a privilege to support the important work you do.

Winnipeg Beach is more than a destination, it’s a community with vision!! GovFox was honoured to work with Winnipeg Beach to create a Community Strategic Plan in 2024, including permanent and seasonal residents, business owners and visitors in the public consultation process. Listening is the first step, but action is where change happens. I’m proud to support this Council as they move from big ideas to practical strategies that will make a real difference for residents and visitors alike. Conversations during our session this week showed just how much people care about the future of Winnipeg Beach. The best plans don’t just solve today’s challenges, they build a foundation for future generations. Winnipeg Beach is taking that seriously, and it was an honour to contribute by faciliating discussion, sharing best practicrs and identifying realistic goals and action items for success!! 😌🦊

On September 3rd, Council and staff gathered with consultant Cheryl from GovFox Municipal Consulting for a working session to start building our Operational Plan. This is the next step after adopting our Strategic Plan—turning the community’s big vision into clear actions for the months and years ahead!

Great weekend meeting community members in the Municipality of Grassland as part of their strategic planning process. Three focus groups in Minto, Elgin ans Hartney wirh some passionate residents. Wonderful to meet all! 🙏🏻
