Lately I’ve been realizing that some exhaustion has nothing to do with hours worked.
Sometimes it comes from carrying too much emotionally.
Being the strong one.
The calm one.
The helper.
The fixer.
The person everyone comes to.
That kind of tired feels different.
And I think so many people are quietly carrying things nobody else sees.
Especially people working in leadership, caregiving, community work, or supporting others every day.
Sometimes rest matters.
But sometimes what people really need is support, honesty, boundaries, or spaces where they no longer feel responsible for holding everything together alone.
Maybe the goal isn’t to carry more.
Maybe it’s learning what was never yours to hold.
