We spent the last 7 days camping between my family and my in-laws.

And honestly? I didn’t miss a thing. ❤️

I got to be present for the campfires, the chaos, the laughs, the kids, the late nights, the little moments… all of it.

My business didn’t require me to step away from any of those moments.

I’d stay up an extra 10–15 minutes, put a post together, schedule it for the next day, and then I could close my phone and enjoy the next 23.75 hours.

The posts went out while I was busy doing exactly what I wanted to be doing anyway.

Making memories.
Taking pictures.
Being with my family.

That’s the kind of flexibility I wanted when I started building this.

Not a business that takes over my life.

A business that fits into my life.

If you've followed me for a while, you already know...

This is my happy place. ☀️🌊

A day on the boat with family.
Kids laughing.
Music playing.
Nowhere we have to be.

Years ago, I would've spent a day like this thinking about everything waiting for me when we got home.

The laundry.
The house.
The bills.
The next workday.

Those thoughts don't disappear completely.

But one thing has changed...

We're building a life that gives us more options than we had before.

That's what this journey has always been about for me.

Not luxury.
Not retiring tomorrow.
Not becoming a millionaire.

Just creating a little more breathing room.

More flexibility.
More security.
More moments like this where I can be fully present with the people I love.

Because at the end of the day...

These are the memories I never want to miss. 💛

These moments are exactly why I started.

Not because I wanted a different life.

Because I wanted more of this one.

More afternoons on the boat.
More weekends with family.
More moments where I could put my phone away and simply be present (hence the low-quality photo 😂👌).

A few years ago, I would've been here physically...

But mentally?

I would've been thinking about bills or stressing about how buying a few extra camping snacks was going to affect the budget for the rest of the month.

Life isn't perfect now.

We still have responsibilities.
We still have challenges.

But one thing has changed...

We're no longer relying on one path.

We're intentionally building another stream of income that gives our family more options, more flexibility, and more peace of mind.

For me, this business has never been about chasing luxury or becoming rich.

It's been about creating a life where I can say "yes" to more moments like this.

Because one day, these boys won't ask me to go boating with them anymore.

And I'd rather have a little less "stuff" and a lot more memories.

One of the questions I get asked the most is...

"So... what do you actually do?"

It's a fair question.

Most people assume I'm selling products, carrying inventory, or spending my days trying to convince people to join me.

That's not what I do.

I share a business platform that's designed to help people build an online business without having to create everything from scratch.

Think of it like a business in a box.

It comes with an automated system that educates people, explains the business, handles product fulfillment, and provides step-by-step training, mentorship, and coaching.

This weekend, my yard is full of campers.

There are kids running around, campfires burning, meals to make, stories to tell, and memories being made.

And that's exactly where I want my attention to be.

The cool part?

People are still getting information about the business while I'm busy enjoying my family.

Not because I'm glued to my phone.

Not because I'm ignoring everyone around me.

But because I intentionally chose a business that doesn't rely on me being online every minute of every day.

When someone asks for more information, they don't have to wait until I get home or until the kids are in bed.

They can start learning while I stay present with the people who matter most.

I'll still answer questions, check in, and have real conversations. That part will always matter to me.

But I love that my business can keep moving while I'm making memories.

To me, that's what flexibility actually looks like.

I still get emotional thinking about that day.

Not because of the accident itself... but because of what happened after.

When we were sitting on the side of the highway, I felt nothing but gratitude. My boys were okay. I was okay. Billy arrived to find us smiling and laughing, and you could see the relief on his face. We knew how differently that day could have ended.

Then we got home.

That's when we had the conversation neither of us wanted to have.

Because of a ticket on my record, we couldn't afford the insurance coverage we should have had. We had looked into it. We had planned to switch once the ticket came off my record eight months later.

I'd never even been in a fender bender before... We thought if we were careful, we'd get by until then.

We didn't.

In one afternoon, we went from trying to save a few hundred dollars a month... to losing tens of thousands of dollars and spending six months without a family vehicle.

That season was one of the biggest wake-up calls of my life.

It made me realize how quickly life can change, and how vulnerable we really were financially.

A lot of people assume I started building another income because I wanted more.

The truth is...

I started because I never wanted one unexpected moment to leave our family in that position again.

I couldn't change what had happened.

But I could change what happened next.

That's when I stopped waiting for the "perfect time" and started taking small steps toward building something that could give our family a little more security and a few more options.

Today I'm celebrating two people who just got married.

I'm not checking in from my office.
I'm not asking anyone for permission to be here.
And I'm definitely not stressing that taking a day off means everything comes to a stop.

Because while I'm enjoying the wedding, my business is still doing what it's designed to do.

That doesn't mean money magically appears while I dance. It means the systems I've spent time building continue to work in the background while I'm fully present for moments that matter.

Everyone talks about the hard parts of building something new.

The learning. The self-doubt. The consistency. The moments where it feels like nobody is watching.

And they're right... It is hard.

But I kept asking myself another question:
What's the cost of staying exactly where I am?

For me, it wasn't just about money.

It was missing afternoons at the lake. Rushing through summers. Always feeling like there wasn't enough time.

I'm building this business because I want more moments like this—not someday, but while my boys are still little.

Every choice comes with a hard.
