Hi everyone!
Last time I posted anything was over 4 months ago when I shared that I felt defeated that, despite my best efforts, what I had worked for over a year to put together was not gaining or sustaining interest. I felt a bit lost, not quite sure what to do.
So I took a pause, with zero idea as to what would happen next.
When I started Jen Frizell Consulting, my goal was to support women in midlife and help workplaces better understand menopause and wellbeing. I get so invigorated when I learn things that I am passionate about, and I want so badly to share what I have learned with as many people as possible, as quickly as possible.
For those of you who’ve been here a while… yes, you’ve probably noticed I have a hard time making up my mind & following through with all of my grande ideas.
ADHD means my brain comes with a built‑in idea generator — lots of inspiration, lots of pivots, lots of “what if I tried this instead?” moments. I'm sure that has been frustrating for some of you, it has without a doubt been so for me as well!
But what you can’t argue is that my focus has always stayed the same: helping people. That part has never wavered.
Over the past few months, I’ve realized that what I want to build is more holistic, more human, and more community‑centered. And this time, I’m not sprinting into anything or forcing myself into a rigid structure. I’m letting things unfold slowly, intentionally, and in a way that actually supports my brain instead of fighting it.
So I’m excited to share that I’m gently building something new:
The MLife Collective.
An inclusive & inviting space for women navigating midlife — identity shifts, (peri)menopause, life transitions, wellbeing, reinvention, and the honest conversations we don’t always get elsewhere. No big launch. No overnight transformation. Just a steady evolution into something that feels aligned and sustainable.
Over the next while, you’ll see things shift as I rebuild and shape this vision. I’m re-energized, a little nervous, and deeply grateful you’re here.
If you have ideas of what would be helpful to you, please feel free to share! It is a collective, after all :)
More to come!
Jen
