5 Things I Didn’t Know I Was Missing (Until I Left My Corporate Job)
Back when I was still in the corporate world, I felt under appreciated.
Unseen.
Not using my natural talents.
I knew I was meant for more, yet couldn’t put my finger on what was missing. On reflection, I uncovered 5 missing pieces I didn’t even realize were holding me back:
1/. Beliefs
The beliefs I had back then…
“I’m not good enough.”
“I don’t have the education.”
“I’m not qualified.”
were shaped early in life, through comparisons in school, family expectations, and being praised for being quiet.
Over time, these beliefs formed an invisible ceiling.
✨ No matter how much potential you have, you’ll only rise as high as your inner narrative allows.
2/. Cloudy Vision
I knew I wanted out; however I didn’t know what I was moving toward.
Naming what I truly wanted was a struggle, so I floundered – bound by the ‘golden handcuffs’ of a corporate job.
When your vision isn’t clear, your actions scatter. You either stay frozen in place, or you keep busy doing things that don’t move you forward.
✨Clarity is what turns a longing into a direction.
3. Fear
Not necessarily of failure.
In my case, it was fear of success, and all the visibility, responsibility, and change that comes with it. Especially burn out!
For some, it's the fear of being truly seen.
For others, it’s a quiet belief: “What if I try... and it still doesn’t work?”
Fear and limiting beliefs feed each other.
✨And when imposter syndrome creeps in, it keeps you striving for safety.
4. Old Stories
I grew up around people who valued hard work and stability.
Entrepreneurship felt foreign, even irresponsible.
I didn't have role models who understood the deep inner calling to coach, to heal, to create change through my voice and presence.
When your family or friends don’t understand what you do, you can start to question yourself.
✨Carrying stories about how success should look can secretly sabotage your path when left unexamined.
5. Misaligned Behaviour Patterns
At the time, I was doing all the things expected of me...working hard managing 'to do' lists that spilled over day after day.
This led to feeling exhausted without ever feeling satisfied, diminishing my focus and alignment with my deeper purpose.
✨Alignment isn’t about doing more, it’s about doing the things that move you in the direction of your dream.
👉 If you’re a coach, healer, or conscious entrepreneur - and this speaks to you - please know:
These “missing pieces” aren’t flaws - they’re invitations.
To get clear. To do the inner work. To step into your brilliance with intention.
When you bring awareness to these hidden blocks...
You show up differently.
You speak more confidently.
You attract the clients, opportunities, and alignment you’ve been craving.
✨ I’d love to know, which of these five resonated most with your journey?
Let’s normalize this conversation and support one another in rising!
