SharePoint’s "Request File" feature let’s you choose a folder, and create and share a link with internal and external recipients to upload files to it.

➡️ In this tutorial, Andrew Graham, BSc (Hons), PMP, SFC goes undercover as Double O Seven, James Bond, to show you how to create a link and share it with recipients to upload files.

NOTE:

➡️ You can allow people to upload any file type (such as PDF, jpg)

➡️ The admin can block people from uploading certain file types to prevent malicious attacks (such as .exe files)

➡️ It is possible that even if your admin has disabled SharePoint's external sharing, external people can still upload files using an active “Request Files” link.

Use ‌mention mail to get someone's attention. Typing the @ symbol followed by a person's name in the body of an email message or meeting invite will not only get the person's attention, but add them to the "To" line.
