Lately, I’ve been having conversations with women from all walks of life. 💙

Some are still working full-time.
Some own businesses.
Some are approaching retirement and wondering if their savings will stretch as far as they hoped.
And some simply want more options.

What surprises me is that most of them are not looking for a massive life change.

They’re not trying to quit their job tomorrow.
They’re not chasing overnight success.

They’re looking for something they can start quietly.
Something they can learn.
Something they can build in the pockets of time they already have. ✨

That was me too.

When I started at 65, I wasn’t looking for another full-time job.
After years of business ownership, I certainly wasn’t looking for more stress.

I was looking for a way to create more freedom, more flexibility, and a little more breathing room financially.

What I found was a simple system, a supportive community, and the opportunity to grow at my own pace.

Seven years later, I’m grateful I didn’t talk myself out of taking that first step. 🌷

Because sometimes the opportunity isn’t about changing everything.

Sometimes it’s about creating choices you didn’t have before💪

I’ve noticed something interesting… 🤔💙

The women who find me are rarely looking for an online business.

They’re looking for themselves. ✨

They’re often successful by everyone else’s standards.

❤️ Good moms.
❤️ Good wives.
❤️ Good employees.
❤️ Good business owners.

But underneath all of that…

They’re quietly asking:

💭 “What’s next for me?”

They want more freedom. 🌴

More purpose. 🌟

More adventure. ✈️

More financial breathing room. 💰

Not because they’re unhappy.

Because they’re not finished. 💙

And honestly?

Neither am I. 😊

I’m 71 years young, and I’m still building, learning, dreaming, and growing. 🌱✨

I still get excited about new possibilities.

I still believe there are amazing chapters left to write.

And I still wake up every day grateful that I didn’t let age decide what was possible for me. 🙏💕

💙 Today was one of those days that filled my heart.

This afternoon I picked up my granddaughter from school and had the chance to visit her art exhibition. 🎨✨ Seeing her proudly show off her work was such a special moment.

From there, it was back to her house where the family gathered for a quick dinner together. 🍽️❤️ Then it was off to the soccer field to cheer her on as she played her game. ⚽👏

Was it a busy schedule? Absolutely.

Would I trade it for anything? Not a chance.

As I sat there today, I couldn’t help but think back to the years I owned our coffee shop. So many days were spent behind the counter, managing staff, ordering inventory, putting out fires, and working long hours. There were countless family moments I wanted to be part of, but simply couldn’t because the business needed me there.

Today reminded me why I made a change.

It’s never really been about making more money.
It’s been about having more choices.
More flexibility.
More freedom.
More moments that matter.

The ability to say “Yes, I can pick her up.”
“Yes, I can come to the art show.”
“Yes, I’ll be there for the soccer game.”

Those simple yeses are worth more than I can put into words. 💕

Time freedom isn’t about doing nothing.

It’s about having the freedom to be present for the people and moments that matter most.

And today was one of those beautiful reminders. 🙏💙

💙 It doesn’t have to be perfect to be possible.

When I started my online business at 65, I didn’t have a fancy office. 🏡

I wasn’t tech-savvy. 💻
I didn’t have a huge following. 📱
I wasn’t creating professional videos. 🎥

What I did have was a desire for something more. ✨

More freedom. 🌴
More flexibility. ⏰
More choices for my retirement years. 💙

And honestly?

The beginning was messy. 😅

There were things I didn’t understand.
There were days I doubted myself. 🤔
There were plenty of moments when I wondered if I was too old to learn something new.

But every challenge taught me something. 🌱
Every mistake helped me grow. 🌷
Every small win gave me confidence to take the next step. 🙌

That’s what entrepreneurship really is.

Not perfection.
Not having all the answers.

It’s learning. 📚
Adapting. 🔄
Problem-solving. 💡
And continuing forward even when things aren’t perfect. 🚶‍♀️✨

Most women don't start exploring an online business because everything is perfect.

They start because something doesn't quite feel right anymore.

Maybe the bills keep going up, but the income stays the same.

Maybe retirement is getting closer, and the numbers just don't add up the way they thought they would.

Maybe they're tired of watching years go by while putting their dreams on hold for "someday."

I know that feeling because I've been there.

For years, I poured my heart into my coffee shop. Long days. Early mornings. Late nights. Seven days a week. I thought that's just what life was supposed to look like.

Then life gave me a wake-up call.

When my husband was diagnosed with cancer, everything changed. We sold the business, paid off our debt, and thought we'd be fine.

But when I looked at our future, I realized something...

The retirement I dreamed of wasn't going to be created by hope alone.

I wanted more freedom.More flexibility.More choices.More memories with family.More time to actually enjoy the life I had worked so hard to build.

So at 65 years old, I did something that scared me.

I started learning something completely new.

Not because I was desperate.Not because my life was falling apart.

But because I knew I didn't want the next 10, 15, or 20 years to look exactly like the last.

And that decision changed everything.

Today, I have the flexibility to work from wherever I choose.

I can enjoy slow mornings with my coffee.Spend time with my grandchildren.Play pickleball.Travel when I want to.And most importantly, help other women realize that it's never too late to create a different future.

The truth is, change doesn't start when everything falls apart.

It starts when you decide that "good enough" is no longer good enough for the life you want.

So if you've been feeling that little nudge...That little voice whispering, "There has to be more than this..."

Don't ignore it.

Because sometimes the greatest gift isn't comfort.

It's the moment you realize you're ready for something more.

“Is this a pyramid scheme?”

It’s a fair question, and honestly, it’s one I asked myself before I got started too.

A pyramid scheme is illegal because there is no real product or service being sold. The money comes primarily from recruiting people and collecting their fees.

What I do is completely different.

✅ There are real products and services.

✅ People are paid based on product sales and customer volume, not simply for signing someone up.

✅ The company follows government regulations and provides tax documents (T4A in Canada and 1099s in the U.S.).

✅ There is training, mentorship, support, and a structured business model.

Think about it this way…

Almost every traditional business has a form of leverage.

A restaurant owner has managers and staff.

A real estate broker has agents.

An insurance agency has agents.

The owner earns from the production of the team they built and support.

Network marketing and affiliate-style business models work similarly. You earn from product sales and can also earn from the sales generated by the team you mentor and support.

The key difference between a legitimate business model and a pyramid scheme is this:

👉 A pyramid scheme requires recruiting to survive.

👉 A legitimate network marketing business sells real products and services that customers actually want

I always tell people:

You should be skeptical.
Ask questions.
Do your homework.
That’s exactly why I encourage people to go through the information, review everything, and make an informed decision for themselves.

At 71 years young, after owning a coffee shop and running traditional businesses for years, I wouldn’t put my name behind anything that wasn’t legitimate.
