🤍 Build on your experience. We live in our condo in Canada for most of the year and travel to Mexico for a few months in the winter. My husband and I had always been self employed with various business ventures either together or separately. The last business

was a coffee/bistro that we owned for over 9 years and our business thrived ! However, as with any brick-and-mortar business it consumed us...physically, emotionally and monetarily. We rarely had much time to do anything else and only had 2 short vacations. The business eventually took its toll on my husband's health (cancer) so we made the decision to sell. It soon became apparent that the retirement lifestyle we had envisioned was not going to happen with only government pensions and limited proceeds from the sale of the business. That's when I decided to look for something I could do from home as I didn't want to go to work for someone else...and besides who was going to hire me at 65!!! We were vacationing in Mexico when good friends of ours introduced me to the online business opportunity. I wasn’t too familiar with social media; however, I knew I needed to enhance our pensions, so this was a scary step …not to mention my husband was very skeptical. However, I did my due diligence, listened to my inner voice and choosing this business has been one of the best decisions I have ever made - Personally, Professionally and Financially. I have been enjoying this journey as digital nomad and our lifestyle is so much better. We can travel, spend quality time with our grandchildren and not be limited to a frugal retirement lifestyle. My husband health is so much better (cancer is in remission) ,we are living a healthier, happier life with less stress and more time to enjoy all that life has to offer. This business provides me with the opportunity to help others as I am now a mentor, and we are all about supporting each other and giving back. Last weekend of summer… and I plan on soaking up every minute of it. ☀️💙

Today is a family day — and really, those are some of my favourite days.

🔥 BBQ going
💦 A swim in the pool
☀️ A beautiful HOT summer day
😂 Lots of laughs
❤️ And plenty of family time

Nothing fancy. Nothing complicated.

Just being together.

I think the older I get, the more I realize that these are the days that matter most. The simple ones. The ones where everyone gathers, the food is good, the conversation flows and you find yourself thinking…

This is what life is all about. ❤️

Summer always seems to fly by far too quickly, so today I’m putting everything else aside and enjoying the people right in front of me.

Here’s to one more beautiful summer Saturday filled with sunshine, family and memories in the making. ☀️💦🌸

Life is WAY too short to spend 5 days a week waiting for 2 days of “freedom.” 😳

Think about that for a second…

Waiting for Friday.
Waiting for the weekend.
Waiting for vacation.
Waiting for retirement.

That’s a LOT of life spent waiting to actually LIVE. 🤯

I know what it feels like to have your days dictated by work.

For years, when I owned my coffee shop, my time belonged to the business.

Long days. Weekends. Staffing. Customers. Inventory. Always something that needed my attention.

And somewhere along the way, I realized something…

I didn’t want a life I constantly needed a break from.

I wanted FREEDOM. 🙌🩵

Freedom with my time.
Freedom to travel. ✈️
Freedom to spend a random Tuesday by the pool. ☀️
Freedom to have slow mornings.
Freedom to work from my laptop when it suits me.
Freedom to actually DESIGN my days instead of having my days designed for me.

And no… that kind of freedom didn’t magically appear.

I had to build it. 💪

That’s one of the reasons I said YES to learning how to build an online business.

I wanted another source of income, absolutely.

But I also wanted something I think becomes incredibly valuable as we get older…

CHOICE.

The choice to decide what my days look like.
The choice to keep earning.
The choice to keep learning and growing.
And the choice to create a next chapter that feels like MINE. ❤️

**𝐈 𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐛𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫.
𝐈 𝐡𝐚𝐝 𝐧𝐨 𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐚 𝐢𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟 𝐚 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐲 𝐝𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐧𝐞.

For years, I knew how to work hard.

I’d built a career, raised a family, started over more than once and eventually owned a brick-and-mortar business.

And believe me… I knew ALL about long days, employees, overhead and carrying the weight of a business on your shoulders. ☕️😅

Then life changed.

My husband faced a cancer diagnosis, we sold our business, and I found myself wondering…

**Now what?**

I wasn’t ready to stop earning.
I wasn’t ready to stop learning.
And I certainly wasn’t ready to believe the most exciting parts of my life were behind me. 🙌

So at **65**, I did something I never expected.

I started learning how to build a business online. 💻

Was I a tech expert? Absolutely not. 😂
Did I have everything figured out? Not even close.

But I had something far more valuable…

**Decades of life experience and the willingness to learn something new.**

That one decision gave me a completely different way to think about income, time, purpose and what this stage of life could look like.

And now, at 71, I think about how easily I could have told myself:

*“I’m too old to start something new.”*

Thank goodness I didn’t. ❤️

Because maybe your next chapter isn't about slowing down.

Maybe it's about finally having the courage to ask…

You don’t have to become someone else to create what comes next. ❤️

One of the things I admire most about women who truly make an impact is that they know who they are.

Dolly Parton has always been such a beautiful example of that.

Successful AND kind.
Strong AND feminine.
Ambitious AND generous.
Confident AND deeply connected to her values.

She never seemed to believe she had to become someone else in order to succeed.

And I think there’s such an important message in that for women like us.

Because after decades of living, working, raising families, building careers, running businesses, caring for others and navigating all the twists and turns of life…

we already have so much within us.

Experience.
Wisdom.
Resilience.
Skills.
Stories.
Strength.

Maybe your next chapter isn’t about reinventing yourself at all.

Maybe it’s about finally recognizing the value of the woman you’ve already become. ❤️

And then asking yourself…

What could I create with everything I know now?

Maybe it’s a new purpose.

Maybe it’s more freedom.

Maybe it’s learning how to build something of your own online.

Maybe it’s simply giving yourself permission to want MORE from this season of your life.

Whatever it is, you don’t need to become younger, trendier, more technical or more like somebody else.

You get to bring YOU with you.

Your experience isn’t something you’ve outgrown.

It might just be the very thing that makes your next chapter possible. 💙

Just doing ordinary, everyday errands today. 🚗☀️

Nothing exciting.
Nothing glamorous.
Probably nothing anyone would look at and think, “Wow… what a life!” 😂

But here’s the thing…

It’s Thursday morning. And I’m doing them on MY time.

There was a time when a Thursday morning belonged to work.

Schedules.
Customers.
Staff.
Responsibilities.
A never-ending list of things that had to be done before I could even think about what I wanted to do.

Today?

I can grab my keys, head out, run my errands, stop for a coffee if I feel like it, and take as long as I need.

And THAT means something to me. ❤️

Because when we talk about wanting freedom, sometimes we imagine the big things…

✈️ Travelling
🏖️ Vacations
💰 More income
🌎 Working from anywhere

But I’ve discovered that some of the best freedom is actually pretty ordinary.

It’s owning your Tuesday afternoon.
Your Thursday morning.
Your time.

That’s one of the biggest reasons I chose to build an online business.

Yes, I wanted another source of income.

But I also wanted a life where I had more say over how my days looked.

So today I’m celebrating the very unexciting privilege of running errands on a Thursday morning. 😂🙌

Because sometimes ordinary freedom is the best kind of freedom. 💙

And if you’ve been wondering whether there might be a different way for your days to look too…

Maybe it’s time to get curious about what’s possible. ❤️

Here’s something I wish more people understood about earning online… 👀

Making $20 online and building an income of thousands doesn’t necessarily require thousands of times more work.

You still have to learn.

You still have to create content.

You still have to market.

You still have to build trust.

You still have to show up consistently.

The difference can be WHAT you’re building around.

For years, many of us were taught that earning more meant working more hours.

More shifts.
More overtime.
More responsibility.
More time away from the things we actually wanted to enjoy.

But online business introduced me to something different:

LEVERAGE. 🙌🏻

Instead of trying to make a few dollars from dozens or hundreds of small transactions, I chose a business model built around premium, high-ticket products where a single transaction has the potential to generate a much larger commission.

Does that mean there’s no work involved?

Absolutely not. 😂

I’ve had to learn skills I didn’t have when I started.

I’ve had to become comfortable being uncomfortable.

I’ve had to be consistent when results weren’t immediate.

But if I’m going to put my time, energy and effort into building something…

I want that effort attached to greater earning potential. 💙

That was a HUGE mindset shift for me.

Because at this stage of life, I’m not looking for another job that simply trades more of my time for money.

I’m interested in building something that can give me more choices, more flexibility and more control over my financial future.

And yes, getting started requires an investment, just like building any real business does.

But for the right person, it may be worth taking a closer look.

𝐀𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞? 👀

Because I think this is one of the most important questions we need to ask ourselves when we decide to build something new.

Especially when we’re at a stage in life where we think we should already know what we’re doing. 😂

The truth?

You probably won’t.

I certainly didn’t when I stepped into the online world.

I had years of life and business experience behind me, but this was NEW.

I had to learn.
I had to ask questions.
I made mistakes.
I changed things that weren’t working.
I listened to my mentors.
And sometimes I had to remind myself why I started in the first place.

And guess what?

I’m still learning. 🙌🏻

That’s what building a business looks like.

The excitement gets you started.

But it’s the willingness to keep showing up when things aren’t happening as quickly as you hoped that can make the difference.

💻 Learn the skills.
💪 Put in the effort.
🧠 Be coachable.
📈 Keep improving.
❤️ Give yourself some grace while you figure it out.

And please don’t compare your Chapter One to somebody else’s Chapter Ten.

If you’re building something because you want more income, more flexibility, more purpose and more choices for your future, give yourself the TIME to build it.

Not 30 days.

Not until the first setback.

Not until someone else appears to be doing better than you.

Give yourself a real chance.

Because one year from now is going to arrive anyway.

So will three years.

So will five.

The question is…

Where could you be by then if you started now and simply refused to give up on yourself? 💙

Maybe you don’t need to have it all figured out.

Maybe you just need to be willing to begin — and stay long enough to see what you’re capable of. 🙌🏼❣️

WHO KNEW I’D BE DOING THIS ONE DAY?! 😳🙌

Today I was a co-host on our business information Zoom.

Was I nervous?

YES!! 😂

But I did it anyway.

And once I got going, it felt SO good to put myself “on stage,” so to speak, and talk to men and women who are looking for a way to change their circumstances and create something different for themselves.

Because I remember being the person on the other side.

Curious.
Unsure.
Wondering if I could actually do something like this.

And now here I am… sharing what I’ve learned and helping others see what might be possible for them too. ❤️

That’s what I love about this community.

There are thousands of ordinary people who decided to learn something new, step outside their comfort zone and see where it could take them.

And today was another reminder for me that we are capable of so much more than we sometimes give ourselves credit for.

So if you’ve been quietly watching…
