This past weekend I attended Buildership and spent three days learning about marketing, AI, automation, and what all of that could mean for my business.

Like a lot of entrepreneurs, I've been curious about AI for a while. The experience gave me a lot to think about, especially around privacy, intellectual property, automation, and the difference between what AI can do versus what it should do.

One of the biggest realizations I came home with was that not every business problem needs an AI solution. In some cases, a simpler tool may be the better fit.

As part of the weekend, I also stepped outside my comfort zone and experimented with AI-generated video. The reel attached to this post was created using Higgsfield.ai as part of that exploration. While I'm still sorting through my thoughts on AI-generated content, I believe it's important to try new tools firsthand before forming an opinion about them.

I wrote a reflection on what I learned, what challenged my thinking, and where I currently stand on using AI in Prism Path Consulting.

This isn't an anti-AI article. It's an honest look at where I see value, where I see risk, and what makes sense for my business right now.

Sometimes the most valuable part of an event isn't the content.

It's the people.

I attended Buildership this weekend because Dami told me, "You need to be in this room."

So I took the leap.

I'm glad I did.

Over the weekend, I met doctoral researchers, new business owners, experienced entrepreneurs, marketing consultants, parents balancing businesses on top of full-time careers, and people who have started, stopped, pivoted, and kept going.

The energy in the room was incredible.

There was openness, curiosity, encouragement, and a willingness to share lessons learned. Everyone was at a different stage of their journey, but there was a genuine sense of community and support throughout the weekend.

A huge thank you to , , you created a space where people could learn, connect, and grow together.

The conversations alone made the trip worthwhile. ❤️

DAY 2 is a wrap!

Louisa and I both arrived way early because we both oopsied on the time but it gave us the chance to chat and connect before everyone else arrived.

There was so much learning today about the customer awareness journey, covered a bit of AI history, types of AI, thought about what we will be building in loveable tomorrow and way more!!!

Mustafa Elsisy joined from Verifin Nasdaq in the afternoon and covered the risks of AI which was a sobering reminder that AI does pose risks, but that shouldn't drive us into a fear of using it. Like any tool, a healthy respect for risks and accountability is needed.

Will certainly need a few weeks to really unpack everything and organize all the ideas I have floating around in my mind. 🤓

Looking forward to tomorrow and getting my hands dirty with AI. Ill be sure to share what Ive made by the end of the workshop.

Last but not least, Dami and Gillian know a thing or two about putting on a good lunch spread, they have been very generous keeping us all fed!!!

It has been a full-cup kinda day

Spent the afternoon connecting with women in the Business Circle and thinking big for 2027, then rolled into Day 1 of Buildership with Tech Corporation and

Very happy to have been welcomed in both spaces with such open minded positive energy. (That is saying a LOT from someone who doesn't live on "vibes")
