I grew up a prairie girl in Sask. I started working in restaurants in 1980. I met my husband in 1988 and moved with him to live and work in a logging camp in the Narrow Hills of Northern Sask. Gary had 2 kids before I married him and we now have 3 grown grandkids, 4 great-grandkids and we are a multi-cat family. In 1998 when Gary's boss retired from logging we chose to return to Gary's home provin
ce NB where we knew he would easily find work as a truck driver. We packed our stuff in our half-ton and his brother's truck and trailer. I drove across Canada with a freezer full of meat in the back and 2 cats in the cab with me. Gary and his brother followed me with the tractor-trailer. Not long after arriving we both became employed full time. Started saving for the future buying a home started renovations, drove newer vehicles. Fast forward to 2009 Gary has retired at 65 with his pension. In 2012, After 12+ years with the same company and working my way up to manager of a fast-paced successful restaurant chain I get the speech your services are no longer needed. They said the future management was not going in the direction they wanted. That threw our finances into a tailspin. I looked into starting my own business then but had to give up on that idea as I could see it was only adding to our debt. No more savings, renovations on hold debt started to pile up and finally, I had to declare personal bankruptcy. Each month seems to find another bill or something breaks and you juggle the finances to keep everyone happy. On Jan 30, 2019, our world changed forever. My usual 2 am still awake sitting playing games on the computer was interrupted by Kelly's ad popping into my view and I then clicked it and registering and then watching the replay video. Instantly as the video ended I knew this would be my new life's work. I had my coaching call on Feb 16 with Debra and became a business owner on Mar 15, I started my step-by-step training because at 58 years old nobody wants to hire me and if something happens to Gary I wouldn't have any income to keep paying the monthly bills. I am very comfortable working in the digital world. Working from home means I have the choice of when and where I work. The most positive change is Gary no longer sits at home worrying about my safety out driving in dangerous weather at all hours. This is our new retirement and debt-paying off-plan. It is not a get the rich quick job but the harder you work at it the faster it will become successful. I will forever be thankful to Mike, Darren, and Leigh Anne for creating this business opportunity and the live informational videos they do twice every week to help make us finally believe in ourselves and what we can do. Social media rules our lives. Everyone uses it. It runs 365 days per year / 24 hours / 7 days a week. The Internet gives people who live in remote or rural areas a chance to connect and be part of the world. Job prospects in these areas are scarce which is why this is such a great opportunity. Stop the negativity process by putting oneself first instead of making dreams of others a reality
My mentor says Faith, not Fear. Fear of failing at something is an emotion and you can control that. Be home, spend time with family and still be able to provide for their needs,
