Rock In Peace, Malcolm Young. Words cannot express the sadness we feel for the loss and the gratitude for what you gave to the world. Thank you for the sound, the riffs, the AC/DC strategy. You will always be in our hearts, every single day of our lives.

Today it is with deep heartfelt sadness that AC/DC has to announce the passing of Malcolm Young.

Malcolm, along with Angus, was the founder and creator of AC/DC.
With enormous dedication and commitment he was the driving force behind the band.
As a guitarist, songwriter and visionary he was a perfectionist and a unique man.
He always stuck to his guns and did and said exactly what he wanted.
He took great pride in all that he endeavored.
His loyalty to the fans was unsurpassed.


As his brother it is hard to express in words what he has meant to me during my life, the bond we had was unique and very special.

He leaves behind an enormous legacy that will live on forever.

Malcolm, job well done.

Impressions from the concert today in Berne. Despite the rain it was f**** awesome. I got this image of all fans of AC/DC music sitting in a huge circle around a camp fire. Five of us had been playing the music so far. One had to stop. Then another one out of our circle picked the microphone to continue the show. Not everybody is in favor of him. But he is one of us, just another AC/DC fan. And he's doing a great job. In the end we are all just fans of the music AC/DC has been giving to us since 1973.

Maybe Angus is setting a sign. They have a contract to fulfill and finish the tour. They chose Axl as a «guest vocalist», as written on www.acdc.com
Axl will not be a permanent AC/DC singer, he can only be a guest. Everybody knows that. And then it's over. Without Brian AC/DC have come to an end.
