CALL FOR APPLICATIONS: SOLAR BRIGHT FUTURE-Youth Green Skills Training Scholarship 2026

Community Action for Advancing Sustainable Development (CAASDEV), in partnership with the National Employment Fund (NEF) Bamenda, invites youths aged 18–38 in the North West Region to express interest in the 2026 cohort to acquire hands-on skills in solar system design, installation, and maintenance.
A total of 30 youths will be selected. Applicants chosen through the National Employment Fund (NEF) will receive a full scholarship for the training.
Female applicants are encouraged.

HOW TO APPLY

Register and submit the following at the National Employment Fund Bamenda Head Office (Labour and Social Security Building, just above Taxation, Mezam):
1. Written application
2. CV (if available)
3. One passport-size photo
4. Photocopy of National ID Card
5. Photocopy of highest academic certificate

China is changing the face of modern warfare with a major breakthrough in quantum radar technology. ⚙️🇨🇳 The country has officially begun mass-producing ultra-sensitive single-photon detectors, a key component for quantum radars capable of detecting even the most advanced stealth aircraft like the F-22 Raptor and F-35 Lightning II.

Developed by the Quantum Information Engineering Technology Research Center in Anhui province, this new four-channel detector can identify individual photons, allowing it to sense even the faintest radar reflections that traditional systems miss.

Unlike conventional radar, which stealth coatings can easily deflect, quantum radar works by firing photons whose quantum states shift upon contact with an object. These subtle changes reveal an aircraft’s precise location — even through stealth interference, decoys, or signal jamming.
