I have heard stories of people dying and their ghosts seen else where which I always find it hard to believe not until came across a similar story recently and followed every detail closely for over 2 months just to ensure it’s not fiction. The story is too lengthy so will be uploading it in parts.
This story happened in Gambia where a Gambian lady realized she had been married to a ghost from Nigeria for the past 12 years. They got married in 2009 and the marriage is blessed with 4 kids.
Narrating the story on Wazobia FM, a radio station that brought the story to lamplight, this lady by name Amina said she met her husband, Emeka in 2009 in a public transport in Gambia. She was just 17 years old.
He approached her and requested for her number, he took her phone and immediately returned it. When she got home, she received a call from a strange number and it was Emeka the guy she met in the bus. She was shocked, she asked him you took my phone earlier but didn’t take my number, how come you have it, all he said was he has his ways. They started talking and he declared his intentions to marry her. The lady said he should come meet her father which he did.
He came in a white car, they discussed everything he needed to do before the marriage can take place, he agreed then told the father in-law to take him like his son. So he lived with them till the wedding. He also informed his in-laws that he doesn’t like crowd and equally pleaded with them to assign some of their relatives to represent his people during the ceremony which they didn’t object.
On the day of the marriage , he was inside the house while the ceremony was going on outside, he never come out. After the wedding the father in law gave him a piece of land, he built their house, and a shop for the lady. He also built a house for the father in law and assisted him financially. He hardly talks, never gets angry, he was so kind generous that the father considered him as a son he never had.
In 2010, they welcomed their son, in 2015, the welcomed their second child, a girl. Then the father in law began mounting pressure on him to take his wife and kids to his family in Nigeria, so they can know his people. He promised to do that in 2019 but unfortunately Covid came and the trip was postponed.
In 2021, they welcomed twin girls, on the day of the naming ceremony he was in the room as usual while the occasion was going on. His first son went inside the room, took a photo of the father and her other sibling, few days later while he was going through those photos, he noticed his dad wasn’t on the pic, it was only her younger sis. He rushed to the mom and told her but the mom said you know your dad doesn’t like photos, why did you take him, and they laughed over it.
That same year 2021, she was at the shop when a man came on a bicycle asking for her husband who wasn’t around. According to the lady, that was the first time someone had come to ask for her husband in their 12 years of marriage.
