Our first distribution will take place in October 2023 on a date to be announced soon.
This will be very particular as the week leading to the distribution will be marked by week long activities beginning with a menstrual hygiene conference which will bring together stakeholders from different elements to discuss ways to break the stigma around menstruation and pave a brighter future for girls.
There shall also be lots of fun educative activities all centered around menstruation,such as an enter-school competition where girls will use drama,songs, storytelling, essay writing, poetry,visual arts and football tournament among girls to win prizes.There shall also be a parade with girls from different secondary schools in the Northwest region of Cameroon. Then distribution for DRCongo will follow soon.
All these messages and activities will signal the commitment and dedication of the girls and communities to end period poverty.
