✅ UNDERSTANDING THE COMPREHENSIVE TAX SYSTEM

The comprehensive tax system is a new tax system that was implemented this fiscal year 2025 (Merging the former flat rate and simplified tax system)

Who are those liable🤔:
All taxpayers engaged in commercial, industrial, handicraft or agropastoral activity, with an annual turnover excluding taxes of less than fifty million francs

How do you assess the tax you’re to declare and pay as comprehensive tax🤔:
The base of assessment of the comprehensive tax is the annual turnover. And the tax is to be declared and paid quarterly, latest fifteen days following the end of each quarter. This tax can be declared and paid at once for all the four quarters.

✅ Advantages of the comprehensive tax:
1. Clarity: The taxpayers know the exact amount he is to declare and pay as tax annually
2. No Calculation: no calculation is needed to determine the tax you are liable to.

The deadline for filing Statistical and Tax Returns (DSF) for taxpayers under the Medium and Specialized Tax Office (CIME) has been extended to April 28th.

Ensure timely compliance to avoid penalties for late or non-filing.
