One Friday evening, Mr K*m Leonard Official invited us on My Media Prime TV to talk about digital marketing education in Cameroon. After the TV Show, one man texted me on WhatsApp, his name is Mr. Joseph. He is a retired English language teacher, 60+ years old. Many people would have said his time was already past. I didn’t see it that way. He enrolled into our 4 months intensive training program.
During the training, I discovered something powerful about him. His mastery of pedagogy was on another level. He understood how to teach, how to transmit knowledge, and how to shape other teachers. The problem was simple: his skills were not packaged, and they were invisible in the digital space.
So we went to work. I helped him structure his knowledge, package his training properly, and position himself online. I showed him how to use digital tools and online classrooms to train people across Africa and get paid as a coach.
From that training system alone, he started making around 400,000 to 500,000 FCFA per month. Consistently.
Later, I introduced him to an online tutoring platform where he started teaching English again. He was earning 27 dollars per hour. Some days he had five classes with students from different countries. Other days, even nine sessions.
At the end of the month, he realized he was making around 700,000 FCFA, on top of what he was already earning from his own training programs. That pushed him beyond 1,000,000 FCFA per month.
Nothing mystical happened. He simply turned his experience into a digital asset. We built the system properly, and now the income is consistent.
